Overview: AAGBI’s annual meeting for trainee anaesthetists and 1st year consultants takes place in Nottingham. Join your peers for three days of learning, networking and fun. Social events include on Wednesday after the scientific lectures finish there will be an informal gathering for drinks in the exhibition area, an excellent opportunity to meet with colleagues and discover more about working abroad, anaesthesia sub-specialties, LTFT and much more.

The annual dinner and dance will take place on the Thursday evening, and will give you the chance to meet with colleagues old and new, sample some delicious food and drink and let your hair down on the dance floor. This year’s event will be held at The Old Museum and Old Library, which adjoins Nottingham Conference Centre. We encourage a black tie dress code however, feel free to express yourself in whatever attire takes your fancy! Entertainment will be provided by The Spinal Chords.

Don’t miss out on informative lectures and networking with colleagues at GAT 2016. The parent and baby room is a resource room where the lectures from the conference’s main auditorium will be streamed. This will allow you to keep up to date on the conference proceedings whilst looking after your children within the comfort of an informal setting.
