The Nottingham regional anaesthesia/emergency medicine teams are excited to provide this one-day ultrasound guided regional blocks and sedation course for the emergency department
The course is run by consultants in anaesthesia and emergency medicine who are experienced in the effective use of regional blocks and sedation in the emergency department.
The day will focus on how to help provide safe and effective sedation at the emergency department, how to refine your ultrasound guided needle techniques and how to identify the ultrasound appearances of nerves and relational anatomical landmarks for specific upper, lower and trunk blocks.
We provide a ‘faculty heavy’ course with a maximum of 3 delegates per station and plenty of hands-on scanning experience. This should be an enjoyable and informative day to recharge your enthusiasm for practicing sedation and effective regional nerve blocks.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Trent Vineyard Conference Centre in Nottingham.
